Post-Construction Cleaning in Owen County & Central Kentucky
Post-construction cleaning is what Curries Cleaning Services specializes in. We clean new homes, additions, remodels and commercial build-outs so they are ready for the final walkthrough, the closing or the first day of business.
When the trades leave, a building is finished but it is not clean. Fine drywall dust settles on every ledge and inside every cabinet. There are paint specks on glass, adhesive and stickers on fixtures and windows, grout haze on tile, sawdust in the window tracks and debris in the corners. A regular house cleaning isn't built for that. Post-construction cleaning (also called a construction clean, builders clean or final clean) is.
We work for builders and general contractors, remodelers, homeowners who managed their own project, and property owners finishing commercial spaces. We travel within about 45 road miles of Owen County, which includes Frankfort, Georgetown, Versailles, Williamstown, Dry Ridge, Warsaw, Carrollton, New Castle and the Florence and Walton area.
The three phases of a construction clean
Most construction cleaning is done in phases that line up with the build schedule. You can book one phase or all three.
| Phase | When | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Rough clean | After drywall, before finishes and fixtures go in | Remove debris and scraps, sweep and vacuum subfloors, clear dust from window sills and framing so finish trades start with a clean space. |
| Final clean | After the trades finish, before the walkthrough | Detailed top-to-bottom clean: dust removal from every surface, inside cabinets and drawers, fixtures, appliances, windows and tracks, floors, sticker and residue removal. |
| Touch-up clean | Right before closing, move-in or opening | Quick pass for dust that settled after the final clean, fingerprints from punch-list work, and floors. |

How long does it take?
It depends on the square footage, how much dust and residue there is, and how many phases you need. A small remodel can take a few hours; a large new home's final clean can take a full day or more with a crew. We give you a time estimate with your quote so you can plan around closings and inspections.
How pricing works
Post-construction jobs are quoted individually. We look at the square footage, the number of bathrooms and kitchens, how many windows there are, the phase or phases you need, and the timeline. Send photos or schedule a walkthrough and we will give you a clear price. Quotes are free. More on how cleaning prices work.

Post-construction cleaning FAQ
What is post-construction cleaning?
Post-construction cleaning is a detailed clean done after building or remodeling work to remove drywall dust, debris, paint specks, adhesive residue and labels so a space is ready to use. Curries Cleaning Services specializes in it for homes and businesses around Owen County, Kentucky.
When should I schedule the final clean?
Schedule the final clean after all trades are done (including flooring and paint touch-ups) and a day or two before the walkthrough or closing. If more work happens after the final clean, book a touch-up clean.
Do you work with builders on more than one house?
Yes. We work with builders and remodelers on single jobs and on ongoing work. Call or text (859) 428-7957 to talk about your schedule.
Do you haul away construction debris?
No. We bag and remove cleaning waste and light debris from the living areas, but hauling construction materials, scraps or dumpster loads is not included.
Is a builders clean the same as a deep clean?
No. A deep clean targets built-up household grime. A builders clean targets construction dust and residue, which gets inside cabinets, vents, tracks and fixtures and needs different methods. See deep cleaning for lived-in homes.
